class summary

The goal of this course is to teach students a foundational understanding of color theory. In this course students will learn to organize their paint mixing in oils using a method based on the Munsell system of color. Students will learn to see the color wheel as a painter does, developing a keen eye to see color in a completely new way! In this class you will be making your own color wheel that you can use as a reference in your art making.

No prior experience in Oils is required! As we keep class sizes small, our instructors can cater to each student’s individual skill level.
